Below is information about two of the most popular tours, as well as a helpful link to information about other popular tourist sites in Washington.
The United States Capitol
General admission tickets for the United States Capitol are available Monday through Saturday on a first come first serve basis, so arrive early. Tickets are distributed beginning at 8:00 am, and tours are conducted from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation
The FBI Education Center is closed for renovations. They are not currently conducting any tours or accepting any reservations. As soon as tours resume, our office will update our webpage. Thank you for your patience.
The White House
As you are aware, First Lady Melania Trump announced that the White House Visitors Office will resume public tours on Tuesday, March 7th. However, the White House tour website is not yet operational so Congressional offices are not permitted to submit any requests at this time. As soon as the White House Visitors Office is fully staffed and the website is up and running, my staff will contact you directly to submit your new request to the White House. If you have not yet been in contact with my office and wish to tour the White House in the near future, please submit your request on my website by clicking the following link.
Self-guided tours will be available from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays (excluding Federal holidays or unless otherwise noted). Tour hours will be extended when possible based on the official White House schedule. Requests can be submitted up to three months in advance and must be submitted no less than 21 days in advance. All White House tours are free of charge. For more information, please visit Tours and Events
